Brough, Vician Earn Harvard Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by COOP –
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Field hockey first-year Bronte-May Brough and men’s soccer first-year Matus Vician have earned Harvard Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week presented by The Harvard COOP for the week of Sept. 19-25, Harvard announced on Wednesday.

First-year Bronte-May Brough had an impact in all three Harvard wins this past week. She scored the opening goal in Harvard’s 2-0 shutout win over Northeastern, leading a defensive effort that held Northeastern without a shot through three quarters of the game. She added another penalty corner goal in Harvard’s 3-1 win over Columbia on Friday, and notched an assist in another shutout effort, a 3-0 win over BU on Sunday.
Matus Vician, Men’s Soccer, First-year, Undeclared
First-year Matus Vician posted four points on a goal and two assists last week to help lead the Crimson to a 1-0-1 week. He tallied his first collegiate points in Harvard’s 6-0 win over Fairfield on Saturday, totaling a goal and two assists for four points in just 22 minutes.
