New preschool in Mayo village welcomes its first children | Connaught Telegraph

Happy days at Ballyvary Preschool.

The opening of a brand new purpose built preschool has taken place in Ballyvary and it is located next door to the local post office.

Michelle Comer and her team of highly skilled teachers were delighted to welcome all the children to the preschool for their first day in the new building. The school caters for children from two years and eight months upwards.

Safety is at the core of the Ballyvary Preschool project and every aspect has been carefully thought through.

The school has a welcoming environment with large open-planned spacious classrooms full of natural light.

The walls are already covered in colourful works of art by the young students. Each room has an array of toys to encourage creativity, exploration and imaginative play.

At Ballyvary Preschool the children reap the benefits of the outdoor classroom full of adventure and outdoor learning, as well as having indoor time.

The classrooms lead out onto a large, enclosed outdoor space at the rear of the building providing an opportunity for the children to explore and engage with nature in a safe way.

Michelle and the team are very proud of the ECCE class and look forward to welcoming more children.

It has limited availability for 2023 and places are filling up fast for 2024. For further information, please call Michelle at (087) 1359179.
